Hey ladies -
Let's kick it off by logging your 5k time (outdoors), and if you have any personal goals that go along with it.
I want to lose 10 pounds from last Monday so that I can be at the weight I was post-Zander. I hope I can do that in about 16 weeks.

I'm just hope that my kids will get well and I will I have time to train. My time goal is to be able to do it without passing out.
My goal is to run the entire time. That should happen since I have never run outside before!
Kandi - how sick are the kids? Colds keeping you up at night, or worse?

So I have set a new goal and that is just to finish. A lady pushing a double stroller with twins in carriers passed me up at one point. Although she stopped to fix her hair and I passed her and never looked back. I felt good about that. Then this old man and I passed each other and then he ended up coming back up around me. I was looped by grandpa. But that's ok. I burned 642 calories and feel very good about this. I hope I can improve my time but like I said now I just want to finish. Also I never realized how much wind would be a factor while running but when I was running back I going against the wind which is really hard. Especially when you are gasping for air and your mouth is wide open!
